【摘要】:Thisstandardestablishessafetyrequirementswithrespecttothemanufacture,reconstruction,use,modification,maintenance,service,operation,andinstallation(whereapplicable)ofcontainers,two-wheeledcarts,andtwo-wheeledcartlifters.Thisstandardisapplicabletoallpersonsengagedinthemanufacture,modification,operation,usecleaning,maintenance,serviceorrepairofcontainersandcartlifterswhichareusedinconjunctionwiththecollection,processinganddisposal(includingthediversionofwastesforrecycling)ofmunicipal,commercialandindustrialsolidwastesbyprivatecompaniesandpublicentities.Containersmayvarywidelyastosize,designandothercharacteristics.Figures1aand1billustrateexamplesofvarioustypesofcontainerswhichareinthescopeofthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotapplytocontainersintendedforusebyhouseholdersfortheirindividualusewhicharenottobehandledbymechanicalcontainerliftinganddumpingmechanisms.Figure2illustratesexamplesofvarioustypesofcontainerswhicharenotcoveredbythescopeofthisstandard.
