【摘要】:FieldQAdemonstratestheeffectivenessoffieldqualitycontrolprocedures.EffectiveQAfacilitatesthecollectionofstatisticallysignificantdatathatisdefendablescientificallyandinacourtoflaw.QAalsoinvolvestheuseofconsistentprocedures,increasingthevalidityofdatacomparisonamongsamplinglocationsandevents.Thisguideshouldbeusedbyaprofessionalortechnicianwhohastrainingorexperienceinground-watersampling.1.1Thisguidecoversthequalityassurance(QA)methodsthatmaybeusedtoassurethevalidityofdataobtainedduringthesamplingofaground-watermonitoringwell.QAisanyactiontakentoensurethatperformancerequirementsaremetbyfollowingstandardsandprocedures.FollowingQApracticesbecomesevenmorecriticalifthedatamustbevalidatedinacourtoflaw.Undercertainconditions,itmaybenecessarytofollowadditionalordifferentQApracticesfromthoselistedinthisguide.QApracticesshouldbebasedupondataqualityobjectives,site-specificconditions,andregulatoryrequirements.1.2ThisstandardaddressesQAproceduresusedinthefieldanddoesnotrefertolaboratoryQAprocedures1.3Thisstandardalsodoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4ThisstandardprovidesguidanceforselectingandperformingvariousfieldQAprocedures.Thisdocumentcannotreplaceeducationorexperienceandshouldbeusedinconjunctionwithprofessionaljudgement.Notalloftheproceduresareapplicableinallcircumstances.ThisASTMstandardisnotintendedtorepresentorreplacethestandardofcarebywhichtheadequacyofagivenprofessionalservicemustbejudged,norshouldthisdocumentbeappliedwithoutconsiderationofaprojectx2019;smanyuniqueaspects.Thewordx201C;standardx201D;inthetitleofthisdocumentmeansonlythatthedocumenthasbeenapprovedthroughtheASTMconsensusprocess.
