【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversthepreservationofwaterborneoilsamplesfromthetimeofcollectiontothetimeofanalysis.Informationisprovidedtoensuresampleintegrityandtoavoidcontaminationandtominimizemicrobialdegradation.1.2Thepracticeisforcontrolledfieldorlaboratoryconditionsandspecifiesthoroughpreparationofequipmentandpreciseoperation.Wherethesedetailsmustbecompromisedinafieldemergency,nonstandardsimplificationsarerecommendedthatwillminimizeoreliminateconsequenterrors.Note1ProceduresfortheanalysisofoilspillsamplesarePracticesD3326,D3415,D3650,andD4489,andTestMethodsD3327,D3328,andD3414.AguidetotheuseofASTMtestmethodsfortheanalysisofoilspillsamplesisfoundinPracticeD3415.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
