【摘要】:1.1Thispracticeoutlinesproceduresforthepetrographicexaminationofsamplesofhardenedconcrete.Thesamplesexaminedmaybetakenfromconcreteconstructions,theymaybeconcreteproductsorportionsthereof,ortheymaybeconcreteormortarspecimensthathavebeenexposedinnaturalenvironments,ortosimulatedserviceconditions,orsubjectedtolaboratorytests.Thephrase"concreteconstructions"isintendedtoincludeallsortsofobjects,units,orstructuresthathavebeenbuiltofhydrauliccementconcrete.Note18212;Aphotographicchartofmaterials,phenomena,andreactionproductsdiscussedinSections7-12andTable1-6areavailableasAdjunctC856(ADJCO856).1.2Thepetrographicproceduresoutlinedhereinareapplicabletotheexaminationofsamplesofalltypesofhardenedhydraulic-cementmixtures,includingconcrete,mortar,grout,plaster,stucco,terrazzo,andthelike.Inthispractice,thematerialforexaminationisdesignatedas"concrete,"eventhoughthecommentarymaybeapplicabletotheothermixtures,unlessthereferenceisspecificallytomediaotherthanconcrete.1.3outlinesanuranylacetatemethodforidentifyinglocationswherealkali-silicagelmaybepresent.Itisarequirementthatthesubstancesinthoselocationsmustbeidentifiedusinganyothermoredefinitivetechniques,suchaspetrographicmicroscopy.1.4Thepurposesofandproceduresforpetrographicexaminationofhardenedconcretearegiveninthefollowingsections:SectionQualificationsofPetrographersandUseofTechnicians3PurposesofExamination4Apparatus5SelectionandUseofApparatus6Samples7ExaminationofSamples8SpecimenPreparation9VisualandStereomicroscopeExamination10PolarizingMicroscopeExamination11PasteFeatures12Report13
